SHIPPING POLICY

At the checkout, you will have the choice of either express post parcel (tracked) for $16.85, or In-Store Pickup from our Hahndorf, South Australia store. If you do require Registered tracked post with extra insurance cover, please note you will need to contact our store directly on 0480 592 115 to discuss pricing.

If you choose for your order to be shipped, you will receive an email with your tracking number once your order has been fulfilled. You will then be able to track your parcel via Austalia Post. Please be aware that once your parcel has been shipped and tracking lodged, it is out of our hands and any lost parcels will need to be investigated via Australia Post. Opal and Gemstone Studio will not be held accountable for lost or stolen items.

If you have chosen In-Store pickup, you will receive an email when your order has been packed and is available for you to collect from our Hahndorf Store. Please be sure to wait for your ‘Ready for Pickup’ notification before coming to collect.

We endeavour to have your order either shipped within 24 hours of your order being placed. However, in the instance of busy periods/weekends, this may take up to 48 hours.

REFUND POLICY

ONLINE STORE RETURNS:

We hope you absolutely adore your new purchase, however we understand that it can be difficult when purchasing Online. We will endeavour to try and give as much information about a product as we can, but in the event you are not entirely happy with your purchase (please see note below regarding earrings), we will provide an online or physical Store Credit, which will be valid for 12 months from issue.
Please note we do not offer refunds for change of mind in accordance with Consumer Law.  

Please email us within 5 days of receiving your parcel at admin@opalandgemstonestudio.com.au

and request an authorisation number for your return. Please do not send your items back until you have this.

All returns must arrive back to us within 7 days of obtaining a Return Authorisation number.

Once we receive your parcel, the item(s) will be inspected and once approved an online Store Credit issued.
All shipping costs for returns are at your own expense.

Please note we do not offer refunds for change of mind in accordance with Consumer Law.  

IN-STORE and ONLINE RETURNS:

Full priced items purchased at our physical store may be exchanged or returned for a Store Credit within 10 days of purchase. Refunds will not be given for change of mind.

Proof of purchase (receipt) must be provided and the product must be unworn and in the original jewellery box/packaging. Any sign of items that have been worn ie. damage (dent/scratch) will not be refunded, returned or exchanged. This is at the owners’ discretion upon inspection.

PLEASE NOTE: Due to hygiene reasons, earrings can NOT be refunded, returned or exchanged for a store credit. Please choose carefully when selecting these items.

If you purchase from our Online Store and wish to return an item in person at our Hahndorf store, you will be able to do an exchange on the spot (provided all Returns criteria is met, as above). Alternatively, you will have the option to receive either an online or physical Store Credit.

PLEASE NOTE:

    •            All returns must be received back to us in original and unworn condition.

    •            We do not accept returns on earrings due to hygiene reasons

    •            Store Credits will be to the value of the item(s) purchased only, and any postage paid will be at the expense of the consumer

    •            We will not take responsibility for any items not received back to us, so please use tracked/registered post to send back any returns
